At this time, I am working on a news site and a social networking site. I am the lead developer in both projects. Both projects use a SQL database and PHP. Both sides include games. The back-ends are in development at this time. I have created JavaScript games for the news site to give people something to do while the database I develop the database. I have spiders that crawl the web and store content in my database. The trick now is to figure out how to filter the data in the search. This is an algorithm problem that I am dealing with. The social network site requires a lot of thought at this time. We do not have a dedicated server therefore, we have to decide what is relevant for the project as well what type data and its size constraints will better suit our needs. For this project, performance and size constraints are major issues. I am still working on these projects at this time. I am using one for a social network I am creating. It is very complex. I am still working on how the database should work. Once I have figured this out, I will create the database. After I create the database, I will create an interface, and then style it. SQL is simple to learn, creating the logic to create a user-friendly and efficient database is more complicated. I know SQL and how to create and mange databases.
